Men’s 2s Head Coach

St Albans HC formed in 1898, is a thriving, friendly and ambitious club, supporting playing, spectating, coaching and officiating activities for all levels and ages. We currently run 18 teams for men and women, with 350+ senior members and 400+ youth members. We also run summer hockey, holiday camps and disability hockey. We are a Talent Certified Club.

We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and enthusiastic coach to join and strengthen our Performance Squad Coaching team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Men’s 2nd Team within a high-performance environment
• Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions aligned with club performance objectives
• Support the development of talented youth players within the performance pathway
• Contribute to the ongoing culture, growth and success of the club
• Work collaboratively with club coaches to ensure alignment across squads

Remuneration: This is a paid role details of which are available on requesr.

Commitment: Attend training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday 7.30 - 9.30 pm and attend the M2s matches on a Saturday (including travel)

Skills and Qualities: This role is ideal for someone with proven coaching experience (England Hockey Level 2 qualification preferred) or an experienced national league or international player transitioning into coaching.
